About Me
Hi! I'm Jen. In the third grade, I wrote a short story about a baby robin and won a local young author's contest. I've immersed myself in the art of storytelling ever since.
Magazines, newsletters, emails, site, print, press releases, SMS, Amazon, speeches, blogs, SEO optimization ... I've done, and do, it all. But for me, it's not about what I'm writing. It's always about why I'm writing, and who I'm writing it for.
During the past 30+ years, I've crafted results-driven, attention-grabbing brand messaging for small businesses, start-ups, nonprofits and Fortune 500s alike. As a lifelong learner, I believe you can only write what you know. Whether it's bicycles, fintech, data and analytics, personalized gifts, skincare or healthcare architecture, I first become my own subject matter expert. Then I adapt my writing style to match each brand voice while meeting the goals and mission behind every project.
I've had several titles over the years, including mom, traveler and wine lover. But I’m also Associate Creative Director, Copy for PlanetArt, where I head up a small but mighty copy team in sunny San Diego.
