As the primary writer for Los Angeles’ successful bid to host the 2000 Democratic National Convention, I played a key role in positioning the city as the ideal stage for one of the nation’s most high-profile political events. Working in close collaboration with the Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Democratic National Convention Committee, and key civic leaders, I helped craft a persuasive, city-wide narrative that highlighted Los Angeles’ diversity, infrastructure, and political significance.
