Meb Keflezighi, Marathoner, Author and Philanthropist - Speechwriting

I had the privilege of helping Meb Keflezighi craft and share the powerful story of his and his family's journey from Eritrea to the United States. Meb overcame profound cultural, economic, and social challenges on his path to becoming an Olympic marathoner. He is the only athlete in history to win the Boston Marathon, the New York City Marathon, and an Olympic medal. In 2016, he also became the oldest man to qualify for the U.S. Olympic Marathon Team. Meb sought to inspire others by sharing his life story and entrusted me with the opportunity to help write his keynote speech.
